Independent Sales Representative

The Role

Classic Elite Yarns is seeking an independent sales representative for the following territory:

New York & New Jersey



  • Planning and organizing daily sales schedule to call on existing accounts to obtain orders and provide customer support
  • Seeking out and establishing new accounts
  • Physically calling on accounts at least twice a year
  • Following up throughout the year with emails and phone calls
  • Being familiar with all of CEY’s products and programs
  • Knowing your customer and adjusting your presentation to their needs
  • Relaying orders, forms, feedback and other important information to the home office in a timely manner
  • Investigating and helping to resolve customer issues
  • Maintaining and growing sales in the territory
  • Attending a TNNA show once a year and helping out in the CEY booth



  • Have and be comfortable with using a computer, laptop and/or iPad
  • Know how to use a fax, email and Dropbox
  • Send in detailed, clear and readable orders
  • Respond quickly to office inquiries
  • Communicate with Sales Director on a regular basis
