What is Microfiber?

Microfibers are extremely small, about 100 times finer than human hair. Their tiny size lets them flex and bend easily, so they add drape, but not weight, to knitted fabric—a quality that makes microfiber an ideal partner for cotton. Microfibers also add a subtle sheen, and they hold their shape—another trait that benefits a cotton yarn.
