Double Yarn Over:

To create larger holes than a single yo, use a double yarn over. This increases one stitch each time it is used, so remember to drop the second yarn over on the next row or round.

Row/Rnd 1—Wrap yarn over needle 2 times

Row/Rnd 2—When you arrive at the double yarn over created in the previous row, work the next stitch in the pattern into the first yarn over, then drop the second yarn over from the left needle. This will create a larger hole than if only one yarn over was made.
