Crocheting a picot:

A simple picot crocheted along the edge of a sweater, can add an easy, elegant detail to the most simple design.

Step 1: Work in the instructed stitch as many times as instructed. In the Simple Summer Top, we're instructed to work 4 single crochet stitches. (photo 1)

Step 2: To make a picot, chain 3. (photo 2)

Repeat steps 1 and 2 working the first stitch in the next available stitch. Do not skip a stitch. (photo 3)
