Carpet Bag in Vista and Crestone

I love knitting and designing stranded color work, and the process of swatching to discover just the right color combinations. Choosing the colors for this bag from our naturally colored MountainTop Collection yarns was a different kind of challenge. Many swatches were necessary to find the right combination of shades in naturally colored Vista and Crestone so that the different colors would blend while still showing enough contrast to see the colorwork pattern. I have a new appreciation for these natural shades and how much "color" is contained in these subtle shades of brown and gray.
