Issue 437 • Song Wrap
Simple, uncomplicated and reversible, plain old garter stitch is my favorite stitch for scarves and wraps. This week's pattern is worked end to end, with increases and decreases worked along one edge for a triangular shape. Add to this, short rows for wedges of alternating color, and simple garter stitch becomes something special.
