Issue 410 – Izaiah's Pullover

The first time I met Big Liberty Wool I knew immediately that I had to make something in it. The tonal variations within each color, the squishiness, and the added advantage of being washable wool made Big Liberty Wool a win-win combination for a child's garment. Fortunately, I had the exact child in mind, my 20 month old nephew Izaiah. Any sweater I made would need to be a quick knit for my fast growing nephew, and Big Liberty Wool's chunky gauge would make that possible.

Izaiah's sweater is knit at a slightly firmer gauge for additional durability and a bit oversized so that he has room to move and to grow. The diamond and cable panel is worked only on the front and is very intuitive to knit. I hope you enjoy knitting this sweater for the fast moving toddler in your world.
