Classic Elite Yarns

Issue 390 – Cerro Pullover

This lovely top was originally designed in 2011 for Classic Elite Yarns in Allegoro, a linen blend yarn, by Joelle Meier Rioux. Though the original yarn is no longer available the design was too good to fall by the wayside so we re-knit it in Cerro, our Pima cotton and alpaca yarn with the same gauge.

The Yarn

85% pima cotton • 15% alpaca

Cerro combines Pima cotton with a bit of alpaca for a soft, smooth and silky yarn with excellent stitch definition. The palette consists of clear bright colors perfect for summer. If you prefer neutral shades, MountainTop Canyon is Cerro's undyed counterpart and has the same great fiber combination in undyed, naturally colored fibers.
