Issue 379 – Annisquam Headband by Julia Farwell-Clay

This week’s Web-Letter, the Annisquam Headband, is the companion piece to the Annisquam Beret from Julia Farwell-Clay’s recently released collaboration with CEY, From Folly Cove. Like the Annisquam Beret, the headband’s fit is adjustable to fit all size heads. The beret is shown using a purchased ribbon and the headband uses an I-cord – but either piece could use the other option. One ball of each of the three contrasting colors will be enough to knit many different versions of the beret and headband – just supply a new main color.

Part of our Viewpoints series, From Folly Cove is chock full of Julia’s brilliant designs inspired by the Folly Cove Designers, a group of artists producing art and craft style blockprints in Massachusetts in the mid 20th century. Read more about Julia’s inspiration here and view the entire From Folly Cove collection here.

A blog tour featuring each piece in From Folly Cove kicks off today! Scroll down to read about it and the daily prizes that will accompany the blog posts.

From Folly Cove, one design at a time

Did you follow along the Artistic Differences blog tour a few weeks ago? Similarly, some of our favorite bloggers will feature the designs in From Folly Cove. For the duration of the tour, each design from From Folly Cove will be 10% off on Ravelry!

In addition, a grand prize will be given to a commenter chosen at random on the CEY blog at the conclusion of the tour. The grand prize winner will get an autographed copy of From Folly Cove and the yarn needed to make the project of your choice.
