Issue 340 – Feather & Fan Ribbed Tee in Sanibel

Sometimes a stitch gets stuck in your head, like a catchy song. Paired with the perfect yarn, it can be hard to put down your needles. That's exactly what happened to Judy, our office manager and the designer of this week's issue.

"First I knit Lady Londonderry for CEY's pattern book, and then I made another for myself. I loved the drape of Sanibel and enjoyed the feather and fan stitch so much that I designed this top based on the Lady Londonderry capelet to wear to my son's college graduation."

Read on to learn more about Sanibel, Lady Londonderry and other designs in this beautiful summer-friendly yarn.

The Yarn

58% Viscose, 42% Cotton

Sanibel is our fashion yarn: understated, feminine and chic, with a touch of glitz that makes a statement for both daytime and evening wear. The drape is alluring, the hand soft, and the palette sophisticated. Sanibel is perfect for those who wants a little excitement in their stash.

We feature CEY's outstanding yarns in both printed pattern books and free Web-Letters. Lady Londonderry (top left) was Judy's inspiration for this week's issue, but it would seem that simple waves of lace is a common theme with many Sanibel designs.
