Classic Elite Yarns

Issue 335 – Diamond Cap in Color By Kristin

Color By Kristin may be the perfect yarn. The mohair/wool/alpaca blend comes in gorgeous colors, knits up at a gauge that is just right – not too light or too heavy – and glides off the needles. Few yarns get a place in my stash before they're matched to a project, Color By Kristin is one of the chosen few.

On a whim a few Saturdays ago, I wanted to cast on another Diamond Cap and looked to my stash for the perfect yarn. Of course, Color By Kristin! (Did I mention the yarn even has a flexible gauge?). It was so perfect, in fact, that I couldn't stop myself after one hat. In just over a week I knit five more.
