Issue 271 – Bottle Gift Bag in Chesapeake

'Tis the season of holiday parties and pot-lucks with friends, family and coworkers. At an early age, my mother taught me to never show up to these events empty-handed and, over the years, my party favors have matured from soda and chips to wine and cheese (I've never been much of a cook).
Still, my quick trip through the grocery store pales in comparison to the hours some put into their pot-luck dishes and desserts. Imagine my delight when Kathy North shared her Bottle Gift Bag design with us - it's just the thing to jazz up my party contribution. With a circumference of just 36 stitches, I'll probably still whip up a bottle bag or two faster than it will take some to cook their roulades and tarts.
