Issue 266 – Portland Twigs Cowl

When I worked at my LYS, helping people choose buttons was one of my favorite tasks. Buttons can completely change the personality of a piece. Such is the case with today's Portland Twigs Cowl by Tonia Barry. The double-stranded cowl is worked in the round with simple knit/purl patterns. The buttons are added last with crochet chain loops to bring it together.

Not being much of a sweater knitter myself, this buttoned cowl is just the thing to satisfy my button "thing".
