Web-Letter, Issue 148 – Premiere Lace Scarf Cardi in Color

The vine lace pattern bordering the neck and front edges of this cap sleeve cardigan vest, gives the illusion of layers topped with a scarf.  From Gallery, this versatile garment can be styled multiple ways and worn year round. The wide color palette of super-soft Premiere gives many options and, with the help of photoshop, we can easily preview how it will look in many shades. Which color would best suit you and your wardrobe?

Creative Director

The Yarn:

Premiere
50% pima cotton, 50% Tencel

Tencel is a biodegradable man-made fiber derived from wood pulp, a renewable resource. The pulp is harvested from trees that have been planted on land unsuitable for food crops or grazing. The process used to turn wood pulp into yarn is environmentally friendly. In what is referred to as a “closed loop” system, the solvent used to produce Tencel is continually reused, thus minimizing the amount of water and energy needed to produce new fiber.

Tencel creates a fabric that is soft and silky, strong, cool, and absorbent. In Premiere, Tencel is blended with equal parts pima cotton. The blend of these two fibers creates a strong and soft yarn with a subtle halo.
