The daylight hours are gradually getting longer and I’m ready—ready to stop wearing winter boots and mittens, ready to open the windows, ready for sunshine, ready for spring. Spring is a time for renewal and new beginnings and of course, new knitting projects. The Drapey Front Cardigan from Curvy Knits Park Street below is a great tran-seasonal design. Easy to knit and to wear, it has minimal finishing—just sew the seams (no picking up sts along edges) and you’re done! Although photographed in size extra large, it’s a great silhouette for all sizes, and the pattern is written for two smaller sizes (as well as two larger sizes) than the sweater pictured.
