Classic Elite will launch MillaMia in the USA with three beautifully styled knitting books and a series of fantastic single patterns that feature MillaMia's exclusive Naturally Soft Merino yarn. Beautiful knitting kits are available now, just in time for the holidays.

 

Behind MillaMia is the belief that it should be possible to combine a love of knitting with a love of modern design and quality, with patterns influenced by the latest fashion trends, colours that work for every season and machine-washable yarn made from the finest quality Merino wool.

MillaMia's first book, The Close Knit Gang contains a range of patterns shaped by a timeless, elegant, vintage style; while the second collection, Bright Young Things is inspired by the trend for bright, fun, quirky colour combinations with simple shapes accentuated by a riot of pattern and colour. The latest release, Wonderland adds a contemporary playful twist. All three books span from newborns to a generous age 5 (some Wonderland patterns cater up to 8 years), contain 18-20 patterns, and include something for all levels of knitters – from the absolute beginner to the more experienced.

Supporting these designs is MillaMia's unique Naturally Soft Merino yarn. Naturally Soft Merino is made entirely from extra fine Merino wool, but it can still be machine washed in cool water, so garments don't have to be saved for special occasions. The lovely twist produces a fabulous, even stitch definition for knitters of all abilities, and rewards the more experienced with superior, springy cables and crisp colour-work. The 17 custom shades have been developed to encourage knitters to play with colour combinations themselves. Naturally toning, they can be matched to create sophisticated duos or stunning bright mixes.
